on those grand-ams you have to take the top off that goes on

the engine and the plugs are down in there. you will need a long extension

and a 5/8 socket and ratchet. make sure you gap them before installing

them.

It is straight forward. Take the sprak plug wire off & put the

socket on the spark plug. Unscrew it & pull it out. Put another one in &

tighten it. Do them one at a time so you don't mix up the wires. If you

Dont get the plugs too tight & be carefull when taking the plug wires off.
If they are old, they may break.

A spark plug puller is basically a socket with a piece of rubber in it to
grab & hold the spark plug.

Gap the all plugs first, the spec should be on the sticker
Fruit Cake
under the hood. Then remove the One spark plug boot by twisting and gently

pulling or you will ruin the spark plug wire and remove that plug and

replace. Do this procedure one at a time until all plugs have been

here is some advice. do it one plug at a time. Remove the old

plug, and put in the new one before moving on to the next plug. People
